We went shopping at the the St Stephen store on Black Friday. To our pleasant surprise, everything we were looking for in the flyer was in stock! A big thank you to Connie for helping us find everything. She was a big help!
Terrible customer service! I came in to simply buy a replacement bulb for the cargo light on my truck. I waited at the parts counter while the older gentlemen was opening rolls of change and put them into the till. I thought he would come over to wait on me. Nope! Then he goes down to the service centre side where you make appointments. He talked to one of the mechanics and another employee for a good 2-3 minutes. I was standing at the far end of the counter. I was in their line of sight. The older gentlemen then starts coming over in my direction to help me. Nope! He leaves the counter walks right behind me, says nothing and walks toward the back of the store. At this point I walked out and I went to Napa. I was in and out in 2 minutes.
Having to wait at least 10-15 minutes for no customer service is ridiculous. I’ve worked in retail management for 20 years. The customer comes first! The staff here need to be more customer oriented.
That is the last time I purchase anything from this Canadian Tire. I’m tired of poor customer service from this location
Waited at the auto parts desk for well over 20 minutes. The store was understaffed making it very difficult to get assistance. The people that were there were friendly and courteous and prompt, but they weren't able to keep up with customer demand. It's too bad.. I had to leave as I ran out of time, so I didn't get what I went in for, which is ultimately why I would rank the store...
I volunteer with a dog rescue and today we were getting dogs from Texas. The transport vehicle had a leak in the tire, they could not fix on the American side as they were closing. We directed the driver to CT and they did amazing!!! They tried to repair the leak, but it was not rapairable, so they changed it and she was soon on her way to deliver the precious cargo! Thank you so much!! From Relinquished Souls Animal Rescue!
Alright buckle in.
I went in Monday Nov 6, for a prebooked tire change over for my car, and a tire change/oil change for another vehicle. My vehicle went fine when I dropped it off at 08:00. I then paid, picked it up, and dropped the other vehicle off at 09:00.
I went back around 14:30-15:00 to pay and make sure everything went okay. I went in and the service manager was there ( he helped me originally). He informed me that he tried calling me multiple times (I received no calls upon checking call history in my phone), I verified he had my correct number which he did. He was trying to inform me that the wheel nuts were not the right ones, that I needed different ones for the summer rims/winter rims. Strange, they changed my tires in the spring and mentioned nothing of the sort.
So we AGREED that we would have a new appointment Wednesday evening at 16:30 to finish the vehicle as the oil change was done. I told him that I would look into the wheel nuts, but I don't remember ever having them swapped before.
Wednesday Evening rolls around, and the person I booked it for, shows up and there is no appointment booked, so he now has to book her an appointment the next morning (a work day) at 08:30. I decided I did not like this treatment so I called the service manager. He answered and we went back and forth on what each one of us said. He told me that we never booked an appointment, and that I was going to let him know about the lug nuts. I asked him for compensation for having to change scheduling due to their mix-up. The service manager, who is the only one I've dealt with, says oh you just want it for free. I said no but a discount would be nice. He told me that he should charge me more, because they're the cheapest in town. At this point I decided he was not worth my time.
Anyways 08:30 rolls around on Wednesday (today), and the vehicle is dropped off on time. It is picked up. With the same wheel nuts on it with the winter rims. So what even happened then, if its the same wheel nuts they told me wouldn't fit.
Either way on a scale of service I'm giving a 1/10. I won't be back.
07 Honda accord. Was leaving to cross the country whatever work these people did lasted 1 province. They overcharged me for parts. Had all parts they put on replaced when I got to Edmonton and the Alberta mechanics literally laughed at …
Great location with sweet staff. Yes, you can find staff here! We've heard it can be difficult in other locations. ;)
They were helpful and I got a good deal on new tires.
